The KR Group added a new systems engineer to its team in March.
Matt Wind comes to The KR Group with a variety of IT experience including Apple and Windows products, medical devices, and nursing paging systems.
“If you can name it, I’ve probably had my hand in it,” Matt said.
He was attracted to the systems engineer position at The KR Group because he wanted to help people and work on new challenges every day.
NOC Manager Dan Lapinski has been impressed with Matt’s willingness to help others and has enjoyed working with him.
“Matt has a great attitude and works extremely well with our customers,” Dan said. “The KR Group is excited for Matt to continue to grow in his IT career while working with us.”
Matt started while The KR Group was transitioning to a remote workforce, and as a result, has spent the majority of his employment working from home. Still, his favorite part about his new job is the team he works with.
“So far, the thing I love the most is the people here,” he continued. “Everyone is always willing to help and willing to take the time to teach me things I may not 100% know.”
When he’s not working, Matt, who currently resides in Byron Center, enjoys boating, fishing, camping, shooting at the range, and enjoying West Michigan in general.
“West Michigan is just a great place to live and work,” Matt said. “People are nice, and the entertainment is great.”
He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching his three children play sports.
