In December, The KR Group welcomed Jimmi Costello as its newest systems consultant.

Jimmi is working with Vice President and CISO Bob Barrett to help clients with their project implementation needs.

Jimmi brings 20 years of IT experience to The KR Group. He’s worked in roles from helpdesk to IT management with companies from 50 to 50,000 users.

“Drawing on a rich IT history from both in-house and consulting perspectives, Jimmi brings a wealth of experience with multi-vertical systems to the team,” Bob said. “Additionally, his bedside manner is second to none. We’re excited to have him on board.”

Jimmi’s passion for IT precedes his professional experience, though.

“For me, IT has been an interest to me since I was young,” Jimmi explained. “I participated in all the IT-related classes in high school, and after I graduated, I continued to get a degree in Information Systems.”

When it comes to his new job, Jimmi said he’s enjoying the new challenges and opportunities to assist clients.

“For me, I love solving complex issues and helping clients understand their environment,” he continued. “If they know what is going on in their environment and they know we will help them it becomes a huge win all around for both sides.”

Outside of work, Jimmi’s favorite way to spend his free time is with his family. He’s been married to his wife, Erica since 2016, and, together they have four girls, Izzy, Lily, Willow, and Stella.

“To me, my family is everything,” he said.

Jimmi, his wife, and daughters live in Muskegon, whose coast he considers “the most beautiful shoreline on Lake Michigan.”

In addition to enjoying time with his family, Jimmi spends his free time watching movies, studying theology, and spending time with close friends.

Jimmi works out of The KR Group’s Spring Lake office, and if you see him around, make sure give him a warm welcome.
